As a warm and glowing sun descended and day gave way to the evening, the rustic and elegant barn turned more beautiful and illuminated as it was the perfect stage for a love-filled, playful and full-blown dancing delight.

The couple did not want anything to interfere with the atmosphere and rustic beauty of the setting of The Barn at Lone Eagle Landing in Sainte Genevieve, MO. Given the presence of wooden beams, light strings, and a porch that went fully around the establishment, the theme made the place look like a home.
For the ceremony, they had dried pampas grass, eucalyptus, and ivory rose petals on the aisle in their planner. Later on, the doors to the barn opened to the cocktail area with a wooden bar and whiskey barrel needed for the reception–the couple’s mutual drink choice.
Music, Magic, and Memorable Moments
There was powerful music that was changing from one type to another with much ease. Madison and Cole put together a song list as eclectic as their guests’ choices for the best mix of pop songs, new and old. Their first dance for the night was the first dance, which was “Yours,” by Russell Dickerson, making the crowd go wild. They immediately transitioned into country, pop, and throwback to get all ages on the dance floor.
Thus, with music on, guests came out to the barn, which had an outdoor terrace that was surrounded by fire pits and warmed by blankets. The use of bonfire merged the feel of the atmosphere to that of a typical barn party in a family’s compound rather than the actual place, which was The Barn at Lone Eagle Landing, St. Genevieve, MO.
A twist was done in that area when the couple decided to arrange for a taco truck on the night – right infront of the barn. The energy rose high, laughter was heard, and guests did not even blink an eye when going for a second and even the third helpings. Each spoonful and each note played added to the atmosphere of the casual merriment, enjoyed at the festival.
