Tips to Lose Weight Before Your Wedding
A wedding day is the best reason to lose weight. You will feel your best while you adorn your perfect wedding dress. But to get in that shape, you need to make some effort. You need to have a healthy diet and becoming physically active P.S. running errands for your wedding preparation does not count as a proper exercise. Here are some tips for you to lose the extra pounds before your big day.
1. Drink Plenty of Water
That flawless skin is not going to come on its own. Drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated. Water helps keep you fuller for a longer period. Make no excuse and keep a water bottle with you at all time. You don’t need a simple to make an entrance on your wedding day.
2. Track your food intake
Track every single thing you eat. From cake tasting to the Starbucks you bought while shopping must be included in your calorie tracking dairy or app you use. These hidden calories are the reason for gaining the extra pound. Be precise and track every item you intake to get the maximum result.
3. Don’t skip breakfast
Starving yourself will bring no good to your health, and you will not lose weight. It is best to get this misconception of skipping breakfast out of your mind. Breakfast is the most important meal of your day. Having breakfast will speed up your metabolism rate, and you will be less likely to eat unhealthy food items. Those who eat their breakfast consume fewer calories throughout the day.
4. Get sufficient sleep
Late night dance practice sessions are fun but don’t disturb your sleep for it. Rest is highly essential for the normal functioning of your body. Add “Sleep” in your to-dos list. Sleep deprivation makes you cranky and alters your food choice. You are more likely to eat an unhealthy meal if you are sleep deprived. Follow a proper schedule and get at least 7 hours of sleep every day.
5. Protein-rich food
Foods rich in protein are chicken, eggs, spinach, kale, and fish. These food items keep you fuller for a longer time. Protein-rich food gives you the energy to deal with the hectic shopping trips and meetings. The amino acid found in protein-rich food help in keeping your skin healthy and fresh. If you are a vegetarian, you can eat lentils, Greek yogurt, and chickpeas.
6. Get a fitness buddy
Every goal seems more comfortable to accomplish when you have a partner with you. Same is the case with weight loss. It is hard to stay motivated for a more extended period, but if you have support, you will stick to your goal and remain consistent. Tell your weight loss goal to everyone around you so that they don’t eat tasty food in front of you. You can be part of a community that has a similar goal as you. Spending time with people with a similar purpose will make your weight loss journey easier.
7. Do exercise
Exercise is very important. Diet and exercise work side by side. They are like two wheels of a car. The car won’t go anywhere if anyone of the wheel is missing. This quote is mostly used for a couple but I made some changes in it to emphasize my point. Consider your workout as an appointment which you can not miss at all cost. Don’t plan anything that disturbs your exercise schedule. If you want to lose weight before your wedding day, you got to make the efforts honey.
