Job Information

We don’t require you to sell, market, advertise, etc, but to only provide a professional, classy, non-cheesy DJ experience and contact the client to confirm event details the week of their event.
We do not require you to sign any non-compete agreement and you can continue with your current gigs. We’ll provide any available events to you via email and you can Accept / Decline the offer. Each offer will include Date, Location, Time, Pay, etc.
 
Requirements:
– Must be 18 years of age – Have reliable transportation and car insurance – Must have your own equipment (see equipment requirements below) – Familiar with all varieties of music – Great communication skills, hard-working, motivated, public speaking, fun personality – Great attitude to create a fun, lively, party type atmosphere – Must be available most weekends – Must possess great time management and organizational skills. DJs may receive offers for events that occur up to a year in advance. – Interested applicants must have the desire to go above and beyond for our clients – Must be able to carry and set up equipment weighing up to 80 lbs.
 
Equipment Requirements For Experienced DJs:
– DJ Controller with two independently controlled microphone inputs – Computer/DJ Software (Serato, Virtual DJ, Rekordbox) – At least two self-powered 12 inch PA Speakers, preferably QSC 12 or equivalent brands – Wireless microphone (Shure, Sennheiser, Audio Technica) – Chauvet Gigbar or equivalent light bar – All Necessary Cables and electrical gear. DJ Facade is a plus

While most DJs provide their own equipment, we must keep consistency across all systems. We require a very simple but professional-looking setup. I’ve included a sample below.
** Required to shadow 1 event or when comfortable before going solo (no pay for trainings)

New DJs w/ Little or No Experience:
We offer opportunities for new DJs with little or no experience. Abell DJ company will provide all equipment necessary and training. You will be required to pick up and drop off equipment for each event.

Job Type / Pay:
Part-time Pay For Experienced DJs w/ Equipment: Typically range from $400-$700. Depending on experience and job details.
Part-time Pay For New DJs w/ out Equipment: $25/ Hr
